We take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of the products that we offer to our customers. Over the past four years, we have been in the business of providing globally influenced accessories to women with a discerning taste for the unique.

What is unique about our products is the method by which they are made. While most purses, handbags and clutches have their finish work done by a machine, we provide a human touch. Women who practice the ancient art of hand beading, taught over 1,000 years ago, make our beaded purses, handbags and clutches. You can see the detail in the product, giving it that special look when it's done by hand. Our style is blending the traditional Cantonese craft of hand beading with a Western cultural flair.

But we offer more than just the hand beaded purse, clutch or handbag. Besides the imported Japanese beads in some of our product, we incorporate Swarovksi crystals and Italian leather into our other lines of purses, clutches and handbags. This creates a diverse selection of the exotic, elegant and eclectic purses, handbags and clutches for which to choose from.

About Asly

At the tender age of eleven, Asly Petris migrated to the United States, abandoning not only her native Uruguay, but the endearing moments and grinning, toothless faces of the companions with whom she shared the laughter and tears of her sand-box years.

Together with her parents and two younger siblings she gathered her courage, packed up her life, and misty eyed, boarded a propeller plane staffed with a courteous and accommodating crew of flight attendants. Somehow the incessant drone and buzz of the engine mingled with the rumblings of her own anxious thoughts were unable to curb the enthusiasm of a new beginning. This was a turning point moment, and as the landing wheels hit the runway, jolting the passengers, Asly couldn't help wondering what life in a different country would be like.

Her first impact with the tropical Florida breeze was exciting—was it the energy of hope—or was it the mysterious awe of promise? There were no answers that day; only the encouragement of dreams and wishful thinking.

Asly’s dad quickly found employment accepting three assignments to deliver cars. This 'position' enabled him to work his way westward until he settled with his family in Mountain View, California. It was not a lucrative ‘profession’ but it put food on the table and gave the immigrant family independent status in an alien country.

The migratory adventure was not without obstacles. Asly and her siblings did not speak English and found it difficult to keep pace with the other children in school. However, not yielding to defeat she studied long and hard and after earning a diploma from Wilcox High School in Santa Clara Asly was successful in getting her first job at the local bank.

Although proud of her accomplishments, a passion to travel took center stage. The memory of the attentive flight attendants who assisted the family during their life altering flight to the United States repeatedly churned in her mind. Perhaps she would be able to reciprocate a kindness received.

Opting to embark on a career as a flight attendant, Asly applied for and was granted the position—a career choice that introduced her to the exciting life of a world traveler and a decidedly influential period of residency in London.

Thinking of friends and family during her travels, Asly remembered them with the unique souvenirs and interesting objects discovered in the various cities and towns she visited. Eventually she would receive requests to bring back ‘special’ items that were unavailable in the United States.

Another new beginning was dawning. One day a local businessman approached Asly and informed her she could re-sell these imported items at a fair price and turn a satisfactory profit. An idea was planted!

Enjoying a sense of style and being gifted with the talent to spot fashion trends while they are hot, Asly focused her attention on the handbag industry. She always had a penchant for these decorative and useful objects and decided it was time to marry business with pleasure. Thus was born the entrepreneurial woman!

Asly went in search of quaint, beautiful and fashionable handbags to start her business. The merchandise she imported was a statement of her personal flair—it was eclectic, elegant in a contemporary manner and undoubtedly right on time!

The venture was successful and as Asly celebrates the beginning of her 4th year, she is optimistic it will break all sales records and make millions of women thrilled to carry one of Asly’s distinctive handbags.
